Città della Pieve

Città della Pieve is situated 509 meters above sea level on the border between Tuscany and Umbria. It's elevated position allows stunning views across the Chiana valley, framed by Monte Cetona, the hills of Montepulciano and Trasimeno lake.
Città della Pieve still sports lots of its rich cultural and artistic heritage. The urban plan, dating back to medieval times, is still very much unspoiled with an intact city wall. Pietro Vannucci, called Il Perugino, was born here and many of his masterpieces, among which are "L'Adorazione dei Magi", "Deposizione della Croce" and "Il Battesimo" can be seen in Città della Pieve.

	From south:	Take the motorway A1 in the direction to Florence, exit at Fabro and follow the road signs to Chiusi - Città della Pieve.
	From north:	Take the motorway A1 in the direction to Rome, exit at Chiusi/Chianciano Terme and follow the road signs to Chiusi, then Città della Pieve.
