Città della Pieve is situated 509 meters above sea level on the border between Tuscany and Umbria. It's elevated position allows stunning views across the Chiana valley, framed by Monte Cetona, the hills of Montepulciano and Trasimeno lake.        Città della Pieve still sports lots of its rich cultural and artistic heritage. The urban plan, dating back to medieval times, is still very much unspoiled with an intact city wall.
