The ancient medieval village of Città della Pieve is located in a dominant position over the Valdichiana valley, between Tuscany and Umbria, 509 mt over the level of the sea.

You will be fascinated by the stunning view of Monte Cetona, Montepuliciano’s and the Trasimeno’s hills. Its main caracteristic is the anciant urban design and its artistic and monumental heritage. Here was born Pietro Vannucci, also known as Il Perugino. Città della Pieve hosts some precious master pieces such as L'Adorazione dei Magi, Deposizione della Croce e Il Battesimo di Cristo.

Assisi

ASSISI is the queen of our region. It is situated at the bottom of Monte Subasio, and is the place of birth of San Francesco, patron of Italy, and Santa Chiara.

The townhall square is the center of the city but there are many other monuments to visit starting from the San Francesco Basil which is part of the Unesco heritage, and S. Maria degli Angeli where San Francesco used to pray.

Cortona

CORTONA  dominates the Valdichiana and admire the Monte Amiata. The medieval walls that surround it give the town a considerable archeological importance. From the city you can enjoy a great view of Lake Trasimeno. Along Cortona’s alley you can visit the Etruscan Academy Museum, the Diocesan Museum, The Cathedral, S. Domenico’s and S. Francesco’s Churches. An appointment that you cannot miss it is Cortona Antiquaria, one of the most important national antiques exhibition market in Italy that take place very year between August and September in Palazzo Vagnotti.

Montepulciano

Important and beautiful to visit is Ducal Palace, painted by Pomarancio.From Castiglione del Lago you can reach Isola Polvese, an interesting island and nature reserve.
